What I love most about being a Virtual Assistant!

When people ask me what I love most about being a real estate virtual assistant, it doesn't take me but a mere second to blurt out my answer!

"EVERYTHING!"

I truly just felt so blessed today, that I wanted to share it with you - and I put together this little slideshow of a few of my online places of work and say "thank you" to all my long term clients that have made my job so easy! You all are awesome to work! I feel honored to be a part of your team(s) and those that are not on this slideshow, I love you all too!

Virtual Assistant Suzanne Roy ~ A Day In the Life

You know, I have been doing a whole bunch of blogs on here over the past week or so - much more than my normal dabbling... I have Cheryl Waller (National Marketing Manager of Real Tour Vision) to thank for my sudden increase of exposure to many sites social sites, such as ActiveRain, Twitter, Digg, Facebook and more... heck, even my own social network site at Ning (boy, you can really get connected to me know!).

I thought that showing everyone (meaning those miniscule few that just so happen to come across my new posts!) a little snippet of what this particular real estate virtual assistant does on an average day (while utilizing my ever increasing knowledge and skill of backlinking and tagging) may be enlightening, intriguing, informative, or maybe, just plain boring! But I took the chance and and am finding that the response I am getting from my recent slue of posts has been very positive! In any event, here's a lowdown of my day today - giving you a great example of what I did and what I do!

6:45 a.m. - Wake up - make coffee and get children ready for school (while
reviewing the 47 emails delivered while I slept)

7:30 a.m. - Drop children off at school/preschool accordingly and drive by my
usual stop, "Grande, Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha Upside Down with a dab of whipped cream, please Jenn!" (yes we're on a first name basis!)

8:00 a.m. - Return to my home office where I read the daily paper, eat my granola, drink my coffee, and read some scripture to get my mind in position for the day...

8:15 a.m. - Plop myself down in front of my ever welcoming HP computer and begin the review my list of items needing my immediate attention. Send confirmation email to Virtual Tour provider that she will be taking the shots of the two homes I have scheduled to be advertised in the Palm Beach Post next Sunday

8:22 a.m. - Online marketing of my Boca Eaton Real Estate Agent's new listings throughout the internet, including a professional embedded blog on AR, plus another one on her own Boca Raton website, updating and beutify'ing virtual tour, complete MLS information, so on and so forth...

10:11 a.m. - Reviewing of Picture Plus advertisements in this weekend's local paper for my Stuart, FL Real Estate Agent (6 total)

10:27 a.m. - Lead management for my Huntsville, AL Real Estate Agent - responding to inquiries received via email from website leads - setting up customized searches in the NALMLS as needed...

11:29 a.m. - Verifying links are properly configured on my Murphy, NC Real Estate Agent's blog site

11:42 a.m. - Login to my TP assistant account and send "Worldwide Online Marketing" email to new seller with links to each website their Boca Raton property has been posted to, plus links to their completed MLS listings (one for sale, one for rental/lease) for their review. Check emails.

12:04 p.m. - Lead management for my Huntsville, AL Real Estate Agent - email to long-term website lead updating their search criteria in the NALMLS and sending them new listings via email

12:13 p.m. - Lead management for my Tulsa, OK Real Estate Agent - inputting new leads into his database and creating new search for them on the MLS - grab some lunch...

12:24 p.m. - Phone call with my Stuart, FL Real Estate Agent regarding my confirmation of getting his PEI cottage rental booking for July, discussion about Open House and property under contract...

12:39 p.m. - Creation of 1/2 page color ad in the Palm Beach Post newspaper for my Stuart, FL Real Estate Agent's Medalist properties. Email to owners for additional information required and confirmation of Photographer/Virtual Tour appointment for tomorrow morning. Check emails.

1:32 p.m. - Creation of full page color ad in the Palm Beach Post newspaper for my Stuart, FL Real Estate Agent - 11 properties prepared to be included in ad. Open House ad creation for Riverbend @ IRP condo for 02/22. Update to TP with appointment for Agent's reminder. Online mass advertising of reduced prices of Medalist properties...

3:01 p.m. - Initial review of market statistics for my Tulsa, OK Real Estate Agent for the month of December - crazy that they are soooooooo far behind in their updating of the MLS info... Create list of things needing to be completed tomorrow.

End of this real estate virtual assistant's work day!

Oh and in case you were curious, the times are to the minute, cause I use a "Clock In/Clock Out program on my computer, so I keep detailed logs of my work completed for each of my clients...

It's now 10:40 p.m. and I'm calling it a night! See you tomorrow?!
